For the project in my Linguistics class, I must study a student and their home language. I will be working with a student who is from Thailand and speaks Karen. When researching Karen and linguistics, I found this book excerpt. I hope it will be beneficial to me in this process.
This is the question I have been pondering for weeks now. Honestly, I have little to NO idea what linguistics is. So, I used my millennial superpower, the internet.
